Christchurch's Banks Peninsula has been dealt with another round of extreme weather with a significant coating of snow falling overnight.
Twenty centimetres of snow has fallen in the higher areas, and smaller amounts have settled down to sea level.
Sandie Stewart is a farmer in Goughs Bay, one of the eastern-most points of the peninsula.
People in her area have been cut off routinely during extreme weather.
