Banks Peninsula dealing with more extreme weather

From Morning Report, 7:19 am on 6 October 2022

Christchurch's Banks Peninsula has been dealt with another round of extreme weather with a significant coating of snow falling overnight.

Twenty centimetres of snow has fallen in the higher areas, and smaller amounts have settled down to sea level.

Sandie Stewart is a farmer in Goughs Bay, one of the eastern-most points of the peninsula.

People in her area have been cut off routinely during extreme weather.

She spoke to Corin Dann.
