Retirement villages say they're baffled by new claims from residents that they're over-charging people and dragging out their contracts.
Residents of the villages are calling the Commerce Commission to review clauses in their occupation agreements which can result in problems like weekly fees continuing indefinitely.
But the villages say resident advocates are simply re-framing issues which have already been addressed.
