Consumer rights advocates complain to Commerce Commission about Jetstar

From Morning Report, 6:13 am on 13 October 2022

Consumer rights advocates have complained to the Commerce Commission alleging Jetstar is misleading passengers about their rights, and breaching the Fair Trading Act.

Consumer New Zealand says its customers could be missing out on costs they are legally entitled to - for things like accommodation, rental car hire, or a flight on another airline.

In contrast, Air New Zealand has met with the organisation and has updated their website to better outline passenger rights.
