Vanuatu holds snap election
Votes are being counted after a snap election in Vanuatu. It was triggered by the dissolution of the country's parliament in August, the day before a motion of no-confidence was set to be put against the prime minister. Residents were given just one day to get their ballot papers in, with some needing to walk for hours to do so. RNZ Pacific reporter Lydia Lewis has been following the election.
