A South Auckland police officer has been seriously injured after being hit by a fleeing stolen car in Manukau city centre.
The officer was deploying road spikes last night near the Manukau District Court when he was hit by the vehicle
A police chase ensued causing chaos on the motorway network before an eventual arrest on Khyber Pass Road.
