Justice advocate on anti-crime measures for dairies

Many dairy owners are underwhelmed by the government's new anti-crime measures.

Instead they're calling for harsher punishments for criminals in response to ram raids and thefts. 

That's Sunny Kaushal a long time advocated for dairy owners and small retailers. 

Jacinda Ardern rejects any criticism she is soft on crime and denies the extra money for Fog Canons, ram raid protection and crime prevention is a knee-jerk reaction.

But National's police spokeperson is scathing 

The police are also increasing patrols in high risk shopping precincts and taking a strong stance on repeat and adult offenders.
