Young New Zealand Formula One prospect Liam Lawson believes he continues to edge closer to the big time as he heads into his summer break.
The 20-year-old from Pukekohe took part in three F1 practice sessions this year - including a stint in world champ Max Verstappen's car in Abu Dhabi last month.
After two earlier opportunities with Red Bull's sister team - Alpha Tauri - Lawson told RNZ sports reporter Clay Wilson his first official drive for Red Bull was a significant moment in his young career.
