German police have searched one hundred and thirty sites across the country and arrested twenty-five people on suspicions of plotting to overthrow the government.
A number of those arrested or still under suspicion include former politicians, as well as former and active members of the German military.
The group allegedly planned to forcibly storm the German Parliament building and sieze control, echoing a similar attempt in August of 2020.
