Doctors turned MPs face off over tobacco legislation

The Associate Health Minister, Ayesha Verrall, has told National's Shane Reti he should renounce his medical oath to do no harm after voting against a new tobacco ban. A bill ensuring people born after the 1 of January 2009 can never legally purchase cigarettes, is set to become law. It passed its third reading last night but not before two doctors - turned politicians - faced off with some fierce criticism. Political reporter Anneke Smith has more.
