2022 memories: Liz Truss loses to a lettuce

The phrase it's been a "big political year" is thrown around practically every year. But in the UK, it really has been a political maelstrom, with three prime ministers in the space of two months - Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, and Rishi Sunak. It inspired the tabloid, Daily Star, to set up a live feed shortly into Ms Truss' tenure of her photo next to a lettuce, and they asked Twitter users, "which wet lettuce will last longer?" And the lettuce outlasted Liz Truss, who resigned after 45 days on the job. Guyon Espiner spoke to Daily Star's Abigail Hunt
