Tens of thousands of people have lined up to pay their respects to former Pope Benedict the Sixteenth, XVI whose body is lying in state in the Vatican.
Benedict died on Sunday at the age of 95 in the secluded Vatican Monastery, where he had lived since his shock resignation in 2013.
Pope Francis will preside over Thursday's funeral - the first time a Pope will be buried by his successor.
Seema Gupta will be covering the funeral, and spoke to Charlotte Cook on Morning Report.
