Scientists may soon be able to answer long-standing questions about the stars in the Milky Way.
That's because of new images captured by Australia's two largest radio telescopes, which show our galaxy in a level of detail never seen before.
The project's Lead Scientist, Professor Andrew Hopkins from Macquarie University spoke to Charlotte Cook.
