An historic Royal New Zealand Airforce plane has finished the last lifesaving mission of it's fleet.
A P-3K2 Orion crew located two fishermen from Kiribati on Monday who had been missing for almost a week.
The Orions were used for search and rescue operations, humanitarian aid and disaster relief around New Zealand and in the Pacific over the last six decades.
