Electric vehicle interest is surging, as the clean car discount makes it cheaper for people to buy hybrids or battery powered vehicles and more expensive to buy a petrol car.
It's in fact so successful there are reports the government may have to rethink the level of discount, or the height of fees paid by people buying gas guzzers.
