The death toll in Turkey and Syria is closing in on 20,000 people.
More than 19,700 people have died and thousands more are missing or injured following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which struck near the border of Turkey and Syria this week.
A member of the Islamic relief charity on the ground says he's never seen anything like the aftermath of this earthquake.
For those in Syria, where about a quarter of the deaths have been reported, those on the ground are struggling to get their hands on aid with the border with Turkey closed.
New Zealand charity ReliefAid has half a dozen people working in Syria in the aftermath of the quake, and its founder, Mike Seawright, spoke to Guyon Espiner
