Local Government New Zealand is today launching a campaign called Adopt a Community, where councils can start raising funds for the Mayoral Relief Funds of areas hard hit by Cyclone Gabrielle.
Local mayors will drive the fundraising efforts, with all proceeds heading to the council they've adopted.
