Update from East Coast after fresh rain

Rain fell overnight on already swamped areas of the East Coast. There are orange heavy rain warnings in place for both Hawke's Bay and Gisborne until Saturday with the heaviest falls are likely from 3pm today. Morning Report heard from Ashleigh McCaul in central Gisborne, Phil Pennington in Taradale at a stopbank on the Tutaekuri River and Jemima Huston at the Esk River Bridge near the entrance to the Esk Valley.
