Workplaces across the country ground to a halt yesterday afternoon as New Zealand edged closer to a remarkable test cricket win over England at Wellington's Basin Reserve.
People were glued to their TVs or the radio as the Black Caps secured a thrilling one-run win when wicketkeeper Tom Blundell dived to his right to cradle a catch, dismissing Jimmy Anderson off the bowling of Neil Wagner.
It was only the second time in test cricket history that a team won by one-run, and just the fourth time a team came back to win after being asked to follow-on and immediately bat again after the first innings.
Black Caps wicketkeeper Tom Blundell spoke to Corin Dann.
