The Government passed legislation last year to introduce a new roadside drug testing regime by March.
But it's been announced an appropriate saliva testing device for random roadside testing couldn't be found - despite a years-long procurement and testing process.
The AA says it's at a loss as to how many other countries are using these devices but we can't make them work here.
