Police had to break up arguments and ask people to leave when protesters turned up at a Dargaville meeting organised by opponents of co-governance.
Organiser Julian Batchelor tried to give a one-hour talk - also opposing Māori MPs, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and iwi organisations.
But he was mostly drowned out by those who turned up to say he was wrong.
