The Prime Minister's popularity is rising since he took the top job last month, garnering 27 percent in the prefered prime minister ratings according to the latest 1News Kantar Public Poll.
The poll found the newly refocused Labour Party could govern with the support of the Greens and Te Pāti Māori, but the election looks to be balancing on a tight rope.
