A Lower Hutt family says it is thousands of dollars out of pocket after a massive slip forced it from its home eight months ago.
Hutt City Council lifted the dangerous building notice this week - but the family says council officers knew months ago that their house was safe.
And, as Ruth Hill reports, they warned the family against talking to the media - or local councillors - about what was going on.
