People living on State Highway 2 north of Tangoio are finally able to travel south to Napier today and tomorrow, to get necessary supplies and services.
The road will open to residents between 7am and 7pm, while also allowing stock movements and other essential vehicles through.
Use of the road beyond tomorrow will be decided by tonight.
