A Christchurch woman who has put up with intravenous feeding and two ostomy bags for a whole year still has no idea when she will be able to have surgery.
Beri Cakal is lucky to have survived a bowel perforation last March, but feels like her life is on hold while she waits for an operation at the city's public hospital.
