Green Party co-leader and minister, Marama Davidson, has clarified her comment that white cis men cause violence in the world, but is adamant she will not apologise.
Her controversial comments were made to a far right person from counterspin media 30 minutes after she was struck by a motorcycle at a trans rights rally in Auckland on Saturday.
Davidson told First Up the important takeaway was that trans people were not a threat to women's safety in New Zealand.
