A long list of big names in global technology have signed an open letter calling for a pause in the development of artificial intelligence.
Figures like Elon Musk and Apple's co founder Steve Wosniak say there are risks posed to humanity if appropriate safety measures aren't first developed and implemented.
But some critics say this language is causing more worry than is reasonable.
