A new attempt to break the deadlock in secondary teachers' pay talks is unlikely to stop further industrial action.
The Employment Relations Authority says it will start facilitated bargaining between the Post Primary Teachers Association and the Education Ministry as soon as possible.
But the ministry says it doesn't expect it will start before union members start a fresh round of action next week.
