With nurses pay levels similar in Australia and New Zealand why aren't more Australian nurses coming here?
It seems Australian nurses are nowhere near as keen as their Kiwi counterparts to cross the Tasman, with only a tiny number wanting to work here.
RNZ revealed earlier this month that 5000 New Zealand nurses registered to work in Australia in the seven months til March.
New figures show fewer than 200 Aussies registered here in the same period.
