Back by popular request, a band of former defence force musicians will perform in front of thousands this Anzac Day in Tewantin, Queensland.
The New Zealand Veterans Band performed together for the first time in Belgium in 2012 at the 95th commemoration of Passchendaele, vowing then to come together every second year at their own expense, to perform at Anzac Day services in a different part of the world each time.
The band's 2021 performances were cancelled due to covid restrictions but are now back for a third time in Tewantin.
