Cops caught misusing plate recognition technology

Five police officers have misused automatic number plate recognition technology to track vehicles outside of their responsibility. Their misconduct was uncovered during a six-month review of the surveillance camera system, which looked back on the four years it's been used. Two of the officers used the technology to track cars they owned, and all five are being dealt with by an internal integrity and conduct group. Assistant Commissioner Mike Johnson spoke to Corin Dann.
