Kiwi to be released into Wellington's South Coast

Later today 25 kiwi will be released into the wild on the outskirts of Wellington as part of a conservation campaign by Capital Kiwi Project and Save the Kiwi.

Earlier this morning they were welcomed by Taranaki Whānui ki te Upoko o Te Ika at a pōwhiri at Pipitea Marae.
