The countdown is on for a heated 4pm meeting scheduled in Gore on Tuesday.
Councillors will consider a vote of no confidence in Mayor Ben Bell, among other options reflecting disapproval of their 24-year-old leader.
There'll be action outside the council chambers too, with protestors planning to gather in support of Ben Bell.
