Wellington's Adelaide road has reopened to all traffic this morning, for the first time since last week's fatal fire at the Loafers Lodge hostel.
The busy road has been open to just southbound traffic for a week now, as investigations continue at the site of the building fire.
Reporter Hamish Cardwell was at the Adelaide Road intersection with John Street, a main commuter route for Wellington's southern suburbs.
