Beckenridge said to be erratic prior to mystery disappearance

The best friend of John Beckenridge has told a court of how he became worried about his friend's increasingly erratic behaviour in the days before his disappearance. 64 year old Beckenridge took his step son Mike Zhao-Beckenridge out of school in Invercargill, in March 2015, breaking a court order. The pair haven't been seen since. Further details of Mr Beckenridge's state of mind emerged yesterday at the coroner's hearing in Christchurch. Adam Burns filed this report.
