The Green Party is promising a radical shake up of the tax system if elected this year, with a guaranteed income, a wealth tax, and a higher top tax rate.
Green Party co-leader James Shaw says taxes will be cut for people on the lowest incomes, putting up to $26 a week more into the pocket of low income New Zealanders.
