A major push to scrap the seven-point-four billion dollar Let's Get Wellington Moving project has the backing of the city's retail sector, or at least those from it who turned up to a public meeting held last night.
The project is a massive overhaul of the capital's transport infrastructure, including a potential light rail system to a second tunnel through Mount Victoria, bus lanes, and pedestrian improvements, along with the creation of more cycle lanes.
Retail New Zealand's public affairs manager Aime Hines spoke to Corin Dann.
