China's President Xi Jinping has praised his country's relationship with New Zealand, saying bilateral ties have contributed to regional peace and stability.
President Xi met with Prime Minister Chris Hipkins in Beijing last night.
Speaking through a translator at the start of the face-to-face, President Xi said China views New Zealand as a friend and a partner.
