A review into inaccurate performance data on Health New Zealand's website has found that staff charged with preparing the information were ill-prepared and "reluctant" to do the job.
Te Whatu Ora pulled the data offline in March when some of the reporting was found to be wrong.
At the time, the agency apologised for a publication error.
Data for the January to March period has been re-released today, with the exception of "emergency department admissions" - Te Whatu Ora says inconsistent interpretations of "admissions" means they have not been able to validate the data.
