The Government is nervously awaiting the release of the latest inflation figures today with hopes for a decent drop.
Statistics New Zealand will release the Consumer Price Index data for the June quarter this morning.
Economists are picking it will fall below 6 percent, a level not seen since December 2021 but still well ahead of the Reserve Bank's target.
