A business that aims to help New Zealanders save money by comparing different prices has its eye on the electricity market.
Consumer New Zealand has the current contract, worth $2.8 million, to manage power switching for the Electricity Authority.
But the authority says when the current contract ends it'll open the market to other bidders, and NZ Compare intends to be one of them.
Its chief executive, Gavin Male spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
