The FIFA Women's World Cup gets underway today in Auckland.
At 6.30pm the opening ceremony will begin at Eden Park, followed by the Football Ferns playing in the opening match, against Norway from 7pm.
More than two billion people are expected to watch the tournament and the opening ceremony and opening match will have hundreds of millions of viewers.
It will be the largest sporting event the country has hosted.
