The police investigation into the shooting spree at a downtown Auckland construction site now focuses on identifying the two victims shot dead and the killer's motive.
Ten other people were injured and six of them, including two police officers, are in hospital after 24-year-old Matu Reid opened fire yesterday morning at the Commercial Bay building site where he worked.
Reid also died but police won't say if an officer shot him or if he killed himself.
They still haven't explained what lead to the attack.
