Only the most ardent Football Ferns fans would have truly believed New Zealand could cause an upset in their opening game of the World Cup.
The 1-0 defeat of Norway in front of a record 42,000 strong crowd at Eden Park has now written the Football Ferns into the history books with their first ever World Cup victory.
