Aucklanders are in shock after yesterday's central city shooting which left two civilians dead and six taken to hospital.
The 24-year-old who was on home detention, but allowed to work at the construction site, opened fire and died during a shoot-out with police.
The horror unfolded on the opening day the FIFA Women's World Cup in Auckland and a minute's silence for the shooting victims was held at the first game at Eden Park last night.
