New Zealand has launched its first ever Aerospace Strategy to help support the sector's continued development.
The strategy runs until 2030 and revolves around five goals including actively supporting space exploration and being at the forefront of sustainable space activities.
Getting there will take a healthy dose of science, enthusiasm, and collaboration.
The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment Space Policy and Sector Development manager Andrew Johnson spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
