Australia retained the Ashes after the final day of the fourth test at Old Trafford was washed out.
England dominated the match after scoring 592 in their first innings, with opener Zak Crawley scoring a magnificent 189.
But only 30 overs were possible on Saturday, and Sunday was a complete washout, which means that Australia go into the final test with a 2-1 lead and have the opportunity to clinch a first series win in England since 2001.
Even if England win the final match Australia will retain the Ashes after winning the last series.
