Opposition parties have been accused of politicising Kiri Allan's downfall for their own gain during an urgent debate at Parliament.
The debate took place yesterday afternoon, after a request from ACT Leader David Seymour.
Mr Seymour said Ms Allan's resignation signified a "very human tragedy" but quickly shifted to criticising the government, accusing it of not being able to hold it together.
