There is an outpouring of love on the East Coast after the news the local MP, Kiri Allan, won't be standing for re-election.
The former justice minister and representative for cyclone recovery resigned from all her portfolios yesterday, after crashing a work car while over the legal alcohol limit.
She is now facing criminal charges.
