The US and New Zealand have reaffirmed the positive relationship between the two countries in Wellington.
Foreign minister Nanaia Mahuta met with US secretary of State Antony Blinken in Wellington yesterday saying the US is among our closest friends.
She says New Zealand would consider joining a non-nuclear component of the AUKUS alliance, which includes the US, Australia and the UK.
