Secondary teachers are hoping they'll get the chance to vote on a new deal to settle a pay dispute next week.
An independent arbitration panel is recommending a pay rise of 14.5 percent over three instalments, but Cabinet is yet to approve it.
It would see the salary for new secondary teachers increase from $55,948 to $64,082 by the start of 2025.
